This research project is part of an interdisciplinary study project at Fairhaven College in Washington. Eventually I would like to teach the contents of this webpage as a course my senior year. I plan to achieve this by regularly updating this website and adding new information as I go. To create a informational foundation for musical synthesis, I am starting by writing about building block information. Later these ideas will be used in conjunction with one another in order to form a cohesive understanding of the uses of analog and digital synthesizers. Though it is important to know the basic information before the more complex, I strive to provide information that will be useful even if the contents are read out of order.
